Fortnite’s Next Sprite Hunt Will Add Gem Sprites and Peely Hours

Peely Hours will give players two one-hour windows to find Peely Sprites on August 4 before Gem Sprites arrive later in the week.

Fortnite will keep its Sprite hunt busy this week, with Peely Hours arriving on August 4 and a new Gem Sprite variant scheduled to appear on Thursday, August 6. Epic Games will follow that debut with Gem Hours on Saturday, August 8.

The schedule gives players more to collect even as attention starts to turn toward Fortnite’s next season. Sprites have become one of the main activities in the current season, and Epic Games is continuing to add fresh reasons to search the island.

Fortnite’s Sprite Events for August 3–8

The week begins with Mastery Monday on August 3. The event will start at 9 a.m. ET and run for 24 hours. During the event, players will have better odds of finding Legendary and Mythic Sprites, along with double Sprite XP and double Sprite Dust. That makes it a useful window for anyone trying to fill gaps in their collection.

Daily Challenges will also provide opportunities to earn additional Portable Extractors during Mastery Monday, giving players another way to benefit from the 24-hour event.

Peely Hours will take over on August 4, raising the chances of encountering Peely Sprites. The event will run across two one-hour windows, beginning at 4 p.m. ET and returning at 11 a.m. ET. Because of the time difference, the second window will fall on August 5 for some players around the world.

Thursday, August 6, will bring the week’s biggest collection addition. Epic Games will introduce Gem Sprites as a new variant, giving players another Sprite type to track down. Players will then get improved odds of finding them during Gem Hours on Saturday, August 8.

Epic Games’ official Fortnite schedule post on X also highlights the week’s timing alongside the ongoing Sprite activities.

The extra collection windows arrive as Fortnite continues to adjust the pace of its Battle Royale season. Epic recently gave players more time to search for Sprites during the early storm circles, which should make these events a little less frantic for anyone who would rather hunt than sprint from the storm. The revised pacing is detailed in the storm circle timing changes.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day Content Continues

The week’s schedule also sits alongside Fortnite’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day crossover. The collaboration includes new outfits and the return of Spider-Man’s Web Slingers, giving players another reason to check in while they search for the latest Sprites.
