Epic Games has just released patch 12.21 for Fortnite. The new update brings a couple of news but also addresses known issues that have been reported in the previous couple of days. One of the biggest surprises is the Awaken Oro, which also adds a new set of challenges, and has most probably stolen the spotlight for today’s update.
As data miners have usually done before, they leak a solid piece of content just before the servers end with maintenance. Below you can find the Awaken Oro skin and also the challenges connected to it. Forttory, a famous dataminer, has discovered this while also claiming that no other cosmetics have been added into the game.

Fortnite 12.21 patch notes
Now, speaking of patch notes, I believe you people are eager to find out what’s been changed. Epic Games is not posting an official list of patch notes by themselves any longer, but instead, they are displaying the changes on their official Trello board. From there, we can see which changes have gone live. The changes below were scheduled to be fixed in this update, therefore. If there are more fixes, we’ll let you know.
- Spy Games: Stuck on “Select Tech” Screen.
- Style selections for certain Locker items not saving.
- Harpoon Gun not catching loot consistently.
- Deadpool plunger not visible on 4:3 Aspect Ratio.
- Creative: Interactive UI not functioning properly when using the Quick Menu on mobile.
Have a beautiful day in Fortnite, everyone!
