As every other patch during this season, the downtime of patch 9.20 will begin at 4 AM ET (0800UTC), which means it will become available in the early morning. This patch is probably going to focus on bug fixes, but also add up some new event files for which we’ll probably hear shortly after the update concludes.
Furthermore, real money purchases will be unavailable 1 hour before the downtime begins, as Epic Games will be performing additional maintenance in that department. Overall, a good mix of development that may bring enhanced gameplay experience.
However, the event files will most likely be encrypted, similar to what happened with the eye. Epic Games may have finally found a way how to prevent data leak, so that tomorrow we believe it will be a tough day for the data miners.
Nevertheless, in the light of marketing, we do believe there will be some data available just so they can excite the Fortnite fans, but also a good amount of encrypted packs that will seek for a lot of dedication.
