Fortnite’s Chapter 6 Season 3, Galactic Battle, arrives tomorrow and brings a full-scale Star Wars invasion to the island. This season is packed with fresh Points of Interest (POIs), new weapons, various blasters and returning lightsabers, and iconic starships like TIE Fighters and X-Wings that players can pilot. It sets the stage for some severe galactic skirmishes.
New POIs Coming to Fortnite
The map transforms dramatically with several new or revamped POIs inspired by Star Wars lore. The First Order Base appears at the top right of the map as an operational hub and a hangar for repairing First Order TIE Fighters. You’ll be able to fly.
The Outpost Enclave acts as a smuggler hotspot while the Resistance Base houses an X-Wing fighter alongside tools essential for pushing back against the First Order forces. And then there’s Vader Samurai’s Solitude. Darth Vader Samurai takes over Shogun’s Solitude to establish his fortress.
Lightsabers & The Force is Back
Lightsabers make their comeback! Players can train with hologram Rey to learn Force Push while gaining a Blue Lightsaber. Alternatively, Emperor Palpatine offers training in Force Lightning, handing out a Red Lightsaber. Defeating Darth Vader Samurai unlocks another red-hued Lightsaber and Force Saber Throw, turning your blade into a plasma boomerang.
Later on May 8, Mace Windu joins, wielding his Purple Lightsaber paired with Force Pull. Lord Darth Maul also arrives, offering another red lightsaber and teaching Force Throw. Players must have a lightsaber equipped to use Force abilities, but note that these powers belong to the player character rather than the weapon itself.

- Dependable DL-44 Blaster Pistol
- Heavy CR-2 Blaster (an SMG!)
- Close-range ACP Scatter Blaster and BARM-ST12 Scatter Blaster
- Distant DLT-19 Blaster Rifle (close-to-medium range)
- IQA-11 Marksman Blaster Rifle (long-range)
- A280-CFE Blaster Rifle (all-purpose)
- DC-15 Heavy Blaster Rifle (Unvaulted; highly accurate)
- E-11 Empire Standard Issue Blaster (Unvaulted)
- F-11 First Order Standard Issue Blaster (Unvaulted)
The Thermal Imploder also returns; it’s a throwable vacuum device causing heavy damage to nearby structures. Defeat Captain Phasma at her First Order Base location, and you get her Mythic F‑11D blaster and Phasma’s Medallion.
