Roblox’s Grow a Garden has been smashing player records left and right, so it’s no surprise that Fortnite fans brought the experience to their turf. This new clone, Go Garden, lets you plant, grow, and sell crops just like the original, but within Fortnite Creative mode.
When Grow a Garden first appeared on Roblox, it didn’t just perform well, it obliterated expectations, hitting over 11 million concurrent players, roughly 8 million more than PUBG’s peak on Steam. Then, in June 2025, it shattered records again by reaching 16 million players. That’s a number Fortnite itself once held, with 14 million concurrent players. Yikes, talk about an upset!
Fortnite Creative has long been a playground for all sorts of game ideas, and this Grow a Garden clone is a perfect example of what the community can cook up. If you want to skip Roblox entirely but still get your farming fix, Go Garden is ready and waiting.
Like its Roblox counterpart, Go Garden has you plant crops, sell them for cash, and upgrade your garden with rare plants. There are mutations, special events, and all the idle clicking you’d expect from the original. The clone is so spot-on that it’s already drawing around 8,000 players at once, which isn’t too shabby for a fan creation.
Of course, it’s nowhere near the massive player base of Grow a Garden’s 2.5 million concurrent users, but if you’re not a Roblox fan, this is the closest you’ll get to that experience without switching ecosystems. It’s unlikely Go Garden will ever claim the throne Fortnite once wore, but it’s a neat way to grow giant bananas without leaving Epic’s world.
