Fortnite is preparing for Chapter 6, Season 4, called “Shock and Great,” which promises a map-wide bug invasion and some engaging crossover content. New trailers and promos have surfaced, revealing that Power Rangers will join the roster alongside previously announced Halo Spartans.
Power Rangers? Yep, that’s right. The latest key art showcases Tommy Oliver’s Green Ranger with a massive Megazord looming behind him. That Megazord is scheduled to launch later in the season on September 16. Before that, a “Mighty Morphin'” bundle featuring the Red, Black, Pink, Yellow, and Blue Rangers will be available in mid-August. It’s not clear if these Rangers will be treated as separate skins or alternate styles for one character, but my guess is the latter.
Here’s the new trailer for all this:
This season will be Shock 'N Awesome!

We know the Halo Spartan will be the Tier 1 battle pass skin, and the Green Ranger will also be part of the battle pass, likely near the top, as is familiar with crossover characters.
Power Rangers have been around forever, with dozens of series and movies since 1994. The original Mighty Morphin’ Rangers are the ones Fortnite is spotlighting here, which is kinda nostalgic if you grew up with them. There have been at least thirty different Power Rangers projects, including Zeo, Turbo, Space, Lost Galaxy, Time Force, and even the latest Cosmic Fury from 2023, which streams on Netflix. It’s clear the franchise isn’t going anywhere, and Fortnite’s tapping into those classic vibes.
Besides these crossovers, Fortnite’s Season 4 will introduce new original skins and some quirky new gear, like a triple-barrel gatling gun that looks pretty wild, ridiculously fun, I’d say.
Why Power Rangers? Why now? Guess Epic Games figured a giant Megazord smashing around would fit right into Fortnite’s chaotic world. It’s a bit of a surprise, but also kinda cool to see such an iconic franchise join the fray.
What do you think? Will you be picking up the Mighty Morphin’ bundle or trying to get your hands on that Megazord when it drops? Feel free to share your thoughts below!
