Fortnite’s crossover with KPop Demon Hunters is live now, bringing a limited-time Demon Rush mode, themed outfits and accessories, Quests in Battle Royale and Blitz, and new Creative assets based on the film.
Demon Rush is a special take on Horde Rush where you play as Rumi, Zoey, and Mira fighting endless waves of enemies and picking up perks to grow stronger. The mode is available now and runs until 1st November, so there’s a clear window to try it out.
Outside of the mode, Epic is offering outfits, accessories, and emotes inspired by KPop Demon Hunters. You can pick up additional themed items by completing Quests from the Huntr/x trio in Battle Royale and Blitz. Fortnite Creative also gets new assets, including film-inspired pieces, demon enemies, special items, and the three protagonists, so players can build their own KPDH levels.
Early teasers surfaced on social media, with Fortnite’s official account replying to Rei Ami, who provides the singing voice of Zoey, and Ami sharing a character render of Zoey online. A clip of the teaser was shared on Instagram, and further reporting is available in a write-up from Polygon.
It’s nice to see a film with so much music and personality find a playful home in Fortnite, and the combination of a timed Horde-style mode plus cosmetic and Creative content means there’s something for players who like to battle, customise, or build.
