Epic Games have announced the arrival of the new item in Fortnite. The Shadow Bomb is finally here! Patch 8.51 contains a lot of surprises and most likely event files in which data miners are going through at this very moment.
The update is not that big and mostly contains content update, without changing any bigger amount of data. The Shadow Bomb has received a video exposure, and you can watch its trailer below.
WEAPONS + ITEMS
- Shadow Bomb
- Shrouds yourself in shadow, briefly becoming invisible to enemies.
- 6-second duration
- User becomes more visible to others near the end of the effect.
- Increases your movement speed, provides the ability to double jump, and wall jump.
- Players are unable to attack, build, or loot while under the effects of the Shadow Bomb.
- Rarity: Uncommon
- Can hold a maximum of 6
- Can be found from Floor Loot, Chests, Supply Drops, and Supply Llamas.
- Shrouds yourself in shadow, briefly becoming invisible to enemies.

According to the looks of the Shadow Bomb and finally a reveal of its mechanic, it is clear that this is most definitely going to change the current meta. It is a very overpowered item that makes the imbiber invisible.
The update is more about the next event which is happening on 05.04.2019, in which players will probably be put in a voting system and decide what item to retrieve from Fortnite’s vault.
