Fortnite is currently getting its enhanced Chapter 3 update, which is supposed to fix a couple of known issues and add new surprises to the game. While the official patch notes and fixes are still missing, we have gathered all of the issues highlighted for being fixed in the upcoming 19.01 game version, so let’s look at them.
Fortnite’s Chapter 3 has been quite surprising so far. With tons of updates and exciting bits and pieces added to the game, there’s not much but praise for the sustainable outcome. Fortnite 19.01 also adds Winterfest challenges, which will keep you entertained and involved during the holidays.

Fortnite General Fixes
- Splitscreen
- DLSS for DX11
Fortnite Battle Royale Fixes
- Network Connection Lost error should now be resolved when joining as a spectator
- Campfires heal players as intended
- Healing while in a tent now works
- Daily Quests no longer disappear if another mode was last played
- Players will now be able to build around large trees with no issues
- Reboot Vans now reboot players if a second teammate interacts with the van
- Screen shakes
Fortnite Creative Fixes
- Crash pads now visually look correct
- Multi-selecting and moving buildings will no longer cause misalignment
Fortnite Save The World Fixes
- Vacuum Tube bow is now causing the chain lighting effect.
- Controller players using Oldschool settings will now be able to switch to their pickaxe when pressing the harvester tool button
- Console players will no longer get mouse and keyboard prompts.
- Campfires above lv 130 will now be shown correctly.
- You will now be able to swap Hero loadouts in the Lobby while using a controller
- 4x Missions now have the 4x rewards
- Elemental Husk’s appearance is corrected
Switch & Mobile Fixes
- Firing Sounds will no longer skip a sound queue
