Epic Games has started the maintenance and downtime for Fortnite’s v14.30 patch. The patch 14.30 is here to introduce various changes, including a new weapon, LTM, and possibly the most exciting Marvel Knockout Super Series. The new gun is the Combat Shotgun, which appears to be the latest addition in Fortnite’s arsenal, and it’s estimated to replace the Tactical Shotgun in the current version.
Shotguns have such a harsh impact on the game. Thanks to Fortnite’s building phenomenon and late-game circles, it incentives close combat fights more than long-range battles. This change is relatively healthy for all players, as shotguns’ current choice did not feel satisfying.
The new Rally Royale LTM is a game in which players will be required to collect tickets and unlock the finish line before others. It will become available later in the week rather than with the start of the servers. On the opposite side of that, the Marvel Knockout Super Series will offer a new tournament format that will most likely grant players special abilities. New rewards are also estimated to hit the deck together with the series’s unveiling, so stay tuned for more.

- Audio of Last Forever Emote playing even with licensed audio muted.
Battle Royale
- Placing a map marker cancels movement.
Save the World
- Sword of the Daywalker has incorrect animation when swinging.
Mobile
- XP bar can be visually incorrect while in a match. / Incorrect leveling-up.
