Ubisoft’s action-packed game, For Honor, has received a new patch titled 2.45.2. This update focuses on rebalancing one of the game’s intriguing characters, Ocelotl, fine-tuning the hero’s abilities for a more balanced and exciting gameplay experience.
One of the most significant changes in this update pertains to Ocelotl’s skill, the Jaguar’s Tail. In its previous state, Jaguar’s Tail could pin opponents and deal damage, proving an effective ganking tool. However, feedback from the player community pointed out that the move’s strength resulted in somewhat imbalanced gameplay.
Addressing these concerns, Ubisoft’s 2.45.2 patch removes the pinning and damage-inflicting ability of Jaguar’s Tail. Instead, the skill now guarantees a chained Light attack. This modification should retain Ocelotl’s competitive edge while mitigating the unfair advantage previously provided by the skill.

IMPROVEMENT
FIGHTER
Ocelotl
- Jaguar’s Tail no longer pins or deals damage, but now guarantees a chained Light attack
- Adjusted weapon trajectories for Opener lights to better match weapon visuals
Developer’s Notes We removed Jaguar’s Tail ability to pin opponents as it was creating ganking opportunities that were too strong. We also adjusted the hero’s Opener Lights to hit external targets more reliably.
