Football Manager 21 is the fastest title in the series to sell 1 million units. Soccer Games are usually predominant in this category, such as FIFA 21, but managing a whole club is always the player’s dream and a completely different story. The title has proven worthy of its value by achieving 1 million units sold.
Video game director Miles Jacobson revealed that Football Manager 21 was the fastest in the franchise to reach 1 million copies sold. The game has over 900,000 players only in the last week. The reach is undoubtedly a success of the game’s availability on the Xbox Consoles for the first time in the series history, which surely contributes to the vast player base.
At some point yesterday, #FM21 became our fastest ever series of games to reach 1m copies activated.
I'm guessing you're getting value for money from it, as over 900k of you played it last week!
I hope you're finding some solace & company from the game world you escape into.

As we progress through years and consecutive FM releases, we see the game’s technology advancing to a unique level. Football Manager 21 is available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and both iOS and Android. Having the possibility to play the game on a handheld device is also a huge reach, allowing club managers to be on the move at any possible time.
