Square Enix has announced an exciting promotion for fans of the popular MMORPG Final Fantasy 14. The Final Fantasy 14 Starter Edition owners will be able to grab the Stormblood expansion for free until May 8th. The offer is available on PC, PS4, and PS5, and once redeemed, players can keep the expansion permanently.

However, it’s important to note that this offer does not apply to those using a Final Fantasy 14 trial account. To take advantage of the promotion, players must purchase the Final Fantasy 14 Starter Edition, which includes the base game and the Heavensward expansion.

Final Fantasy 14: Stormblood is the sequel to the highly praised Heavensward expansion, with its narrative centered on the fight against the Garlean Empire in Ala Mhigo and Doma regions. The expansion introduces several new characters and plotlines that continue in the latest Final Fantasy 14 expansion, Endwalker.

According to Square Enix’s official announcement, the campaign runs from March 27, 2023, through May 8, 2023, and during this time, players can add Stormblood to their accounts for free. To do so, they must obtain it from participating retailers. Once redeemed, the expansion will be permanently registered to the player’s account. An active paid service subscription to FINAL FANTASY XIV Online is required to play.

In addition to the free expansion offer, Square Enix also hosts a Free Login Campaign during the promotion period. This is an excellent opportunity for players who have taken a break from the game to return and experience the new content offered by the Stormblood expansion.
