Fallout 76 players are about to get a patch that tidies up a bunch of issues across Appalachia. Bethesda’s July 22, 2025, update focuses on fixing bugs and adjusting gameplay elements, especially around CAMP building and combat. Servers were down at the time of the announcement, but the fixes should be worth the wait.
C.A.M.P. Improvements
- Wood cost for building the Fire Watch Tower drops sharply from 25 to 5.
- Atomic Ceiling Light textures fixed to prevent missing visuals.
- Typos in buildable and craftable items get corrected.
- Flag variants’ build limit increases from 3 to 25, letting you fly your colors higher.
- Covered Bridge Cap and Deck now cost wood instead of steel, matching expectations.
- Canoe Planter destruction now shows the right effects.
- Tool Shed’s radiant powered area finally extends properly to the top.
- Seaweed Scrapbox is correctly marked as a premium item.
- Industrial Fusion Recharger fixed to respond properly in all cases.

Combat Fixes
- Daily Ops Alien enemies no longer drop unusable Alien Blaster Rounds in stacks.
- Imposter Assaultron Head weapon now plays firing sounds as expected.
- Electro Enforcer’s name updates correctly when applying the “Overcharged” mod.
- Corpses, meat piles, ash piles, and loot bags won’t disappear prematurely before looting.
Ghoul-Related Changes
- Bomb Scientist perk no longer incorrectly applies damage over time.
- Ghouls can’t contract diseases anymore.
- Certain headwear no longer stretches oddly on Ghouls.
Fishing Tweaks
- Fish display in the Curved Fish Display is no longer offset.
- Fishing in Skyline Valley rain now counts properly towards the “catch a fish in the rain” challenge.
Weapon Adjustments
- Chainsaw and Auto axe sounds won’t get stuck after AP depletion during attacks.
- Industrial Paint for Plasma Caster now applies correctly to the barrel.
- Death Tambo, Cattle Prod, and Plasma Cutter no longer cause cloth and other objects to bleed when hit.
- M-16 style Handmade Skins have corrected glow and iron sight alignment.
Outfit Fixes
- Snorkel Mask updated to block damage from airborne hazards.
- Mothman Wing Clipper Backpack now shows the correct dynamic name in crafting menus.
- Some masks and bandanas no longer clip through female faces.
User Interface Updates
- Mods List text no longer overlaps crafting or modification menus.
- Help Menu’s “Feral” section updated with typo fixes.
- Ghoul perk cards now have green borders and burnt card textures.
- Mr. Fuzzy Antennae Ball Backpack Flair name corrected with proper respect.
- Item Stats box fixed to prevent overlapping other UI menus.
- Gun Runner perk animation no longer flips Vault Boy mid-animation.
- Vault Storage Facility Shelter Entrance now correctly identified as an entrance.

- Ginseng Root now properly affected by Verdant Season & Backwoodsman 4 perks.
- Power Armor headlamp alignment fixed in third person when using Hydro Tech Exo Power Armor Paint.
