Sharkmob has revealed exciting news about a playtest for Exoborne, their latest open-world tactical extraction shooter, which kicks off on February 12th. This is the first time players can jump into its PVPVE combat on a grand scale. How about that?
The premise of Exoborne sounds pretty compelling. Players will step into the shoes of Reborn. Extraordinary survivors decked out with powerful Exo-Rigs. The freedom to customize your loadouts and tailor your Rigs to fit your playstyle is definitely something that should appeal to many gamers. High risks lead to greater rewards as you take on other players, battling warring factions and contending with nature’s fury.
The hype doesn’t stop there! A new trailer features Tar, the enigmatic leader of the Reborn, rallying players to confront the looming threat of Rebirth. You might wanna check it out below; it’s sure to get those adrenaline levels up!
Brynley Gibson, the game’s Executive Producer, had this to say:
“We’ve been conducting closed tests both online and in our studio for quite some time. But this marks our first large-scale test, and it’s an incredibly exciting milestone for us. By entering this stage of open collaboration with the community, we’re eager to gather invaluable insights and feedback that will drive us to elevate the game to new heights.”
One thing that’s still under wraps is Exoborne‘s PC system requirements. It’s confirmed that it runs on Unreal Engine 5, but details regarding support for Nanite or Lumen are still missing from the conversation.
