Since the official teaser of Dragon Age 4, we haven’t received any update on the project. The COVID-19 outbreak is, by no doubt, the primary enemy of development studios. BioWare, as one of the studios affected by the pandemic, had the same troubling, which has had an impact on the development of a fan-favorite, Dragon Age 4.
Mark Darrah, an executive producer at BioWare, has already provided an update on Dragon Age 4. He has confirmed that BioWare is working on Dragon Age even though the pandemic has been a culprit. According to him, Dragon Age 4 is still in development, but the progress on the title is slower.
Below you can find the official Tweet made by Mark Darrah. A long-awaited update on Dragon Age 4:
I realize that most of you are here for Dragon Age news and there hasn't been a lot of that lately…
Let me just run down some things I an say:
1. We are working on the next Dragon Age
2. Yes we are working from home
3. Working from home is harder
4. We are making progress— Mark Darrah (@BioMarkDarrah) July 22, 2020
He further emphasized that working from home is more laborious, which might be both frustrating but pleasant, knowing that Dragon Age 4 is still in the works. Prioritizing safety during these days is more valuable than rushing with a development.
The good thing to know is that the fans of the series, who have all responded to Mark Darrah’s Tweet, confirm their patience awaiting the next installment of the series. Are you one of them?
