Exciting Changes in 7 Days to Die: Experimental Patch b27

It’s always a bit of an adventure explore into the latest updates for 7 Days to Die, isn’t it? Just when you think you’ve seen it all, the developers surprise us with changes that can make our zombie-slaying escapades even more enjoyable. The recent Experimental Patch b27 brings some delightful tweaks and crucial fixes that will improve gameplay. Let’s take a closer look!

Patch Notes

V1.2 b27 EXP

Quick update to the Experimental again.
Here’s what changed since b25:

V 1.2 b27 Changelog
Changes
  • Re-enabled Game Version display in server browser for console clients

Fixes

  • Fixed XML typo preventing DualSense trigger effect from being identified to be used for zooming with a 2x scope
  • HUD markers flickering positions
  • Prevent the server password window from automatically displaying the platform’s virtual keyboard on open, blocking users from reading the dialog on some platforms
  • Mods that allow selling to non-trader vendors no longer generate NREs due to a trader entity not being present
  • Added fallback particle removals for bleeding and shock particles in status check player buff
  • Fixed excessive amount of animals spawned
  • Prevent NRE when spam clicking a trader to open the quest turn-in window as a client

This patch addresses some nagging issues we’ve all faced while scavenging through those post-apocalyptic landscapes. For instance, who hasn’t been frustrated by flickering HUD markers during an intense zombie encounter? Or maybe you’ve had your screen invaded by too many critters. Seriously, was that a pack of wolves, or did I just walk into Animal Planet?

The re-enabled game version display is particularly helpful for console players. It’s like finally finding that missing sock after doing laundry, so satisfying! And let’s not forget about those pesky bugs, the ones we love (and hate) so much. A fixed XML typo means smoother gameplay when using DualSense triggers with scopes, making sniping feel just right.

If you’re anything like me, every little fix counts toward creating that perfect gaming atmosphere where you can lose yourself in survival mode without interruptions. So grab your favorite snacks and get ready, it’s time to jump back into the fray! What new tactics have you discovered lately? Share them below!
