More and more games seem to be delayed recently, and Evil Dead: The Game is among those too. The game has been delayed until February 2022, with Boss Team Games’ explaining the reason for the delay. Apparently, the game needs further polishing, and this extra time would allow the company to reach its goals.
This additional time will also allow the developer to implement a single-player option without the necessity of a co-op. Then, the game won’t solely focus on PvP as planned before, as it will include single-player elements.
