SCS Software has opened the Woven Wonders of Winterland event for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator, running now until 11 January 2026 at 23:59 UTC. The seasonal campaign blends new visual touches with a community-driven delivery challenge and timed livestreams with the developers. The event adds five themed depots inside Christmas Winterland – Christmas Market, Marigold’s, Northstar, Rudolph’s Crafts, and Snowy Peaks. Players earn Snowflakes for cities that complete deliveries to or from Winterland via External Contracts linked to a World of Trucks account. Community progress is tracked on World of Trucks and in-game through the External Contracts interface.
Community progress is broken into five tiers of 200 Snowflakes each for a total goal of 1,000 Snowflakes. Each tier unlocks a cabin item reward that matches one of the depots. Individually, players must complete 15 deliveries that include at least one delivery to or from each depot to qualify for the personal rewards. Personal rewards for meeting the 15-delivery requirement include a World of Trucks achievement, the Winter Woollies truck paint job, and, for players who do not already own it, last year’s six-piece exterior cab lighting collection. The community rewards provide one unique cabin item per tier for both games.
Mechanically, a portal opens when a player accepts event cargo bound for Winterland. Entering the portal takes drivers into the seasonal realm. Leaving with cargo returns the player to the original route; leaving without cargo sends the player to a random city for a new job. The event also brings new ambient activity on roads, a Winterland desktop background theme, and softer in-world lighting designed to increase the seasonal atmosphere.
Two livestream events are scheduled to coincide with the launch. Developers will stream on Tuesday, 16 December 2025 from 18:00 CET on SCS Software’s Twitch and YouTube channels, and the annual Christmas stream with Pavel Šebor will air on Thursday, 18 December 2025 from 18:00 CET across the same channels and Facebook. Players can track the event and join the deliveries using External Contracts via World of Trucks.
