Five teams have secured playoff places at ESL Pro League Season 24, leaving three spots to be claimed in the final Swiss-stage matches on Oct. 7. Aurora, 1win, and Falcons advanced with 3-1 records, joining Vitality and MOUZ in the playoff field.
Falcons locked in their place by beating Natus Vincere 2-1. They opened with a 13-6 Inferno win, lost Anubis 15-19 in overtime, then closed the series with a 13-8 victory on Mirage. On Inferno, Falcons won seven consecutive CT-side rounds after the teams reached halftime tied 6-6, and NiKo posted a 2.74 rating. NiKo and m0NESY led the Mirage finish with 26 and 19 kills, respectively.
FURIA faces 9z at 14:00 on Oct. 7, PARIVISION meets Natus Vincere at 16:30, and Spirit closes the day against M80 at 19:00. NAVI dropped into the 2-2 pool after the Falcons loss, leaving it with one final chance to stay in the tournament. A win over PARIVISION would give NAVI its first top-eight finish at an event since winning IEM Atlanta in May. PARIVISION is also chasing a playoff place in its first event with HObbit back in the fold alongside FL1T.
Spirit gets one last chance after its loss to 1win, while FURIA will try again after falling to Aurora on Oct. 6.
