Escape From Tarkov may still be in Early Access, but boy-o-boy has the game advanced in the right direction. For a first-person shooter with a survival perspective, Tarkov is slowly flowing into something quite significant. Battlestate Games can only be proud of their product and their achievements over the past period.
If you remember firmly, in Escape From Tarkov, all of the weapons are a pure reflection to the real-life world, which also makes the game a bit milsim-ish. Well, today, we’ll provide you with info that has just arrived by the developers, and it covers the SVD Sniper Rifle.
Recently, Battlestate Games have discovered a change in the SVD, the very famous Soviet Dragunov, that a Suppressor for the 7.54 caliber is in the works. But earlier today, BSG has also discovered that multiple weapon attachments related to the very same sniper rifle are being developed.
The latest discovery showcased by BSG on their official Instagram profile features an SVD with a NightForce scope and a handguard. We can see a couple of mods attached too. This wasn’t and still isn’t possible to connect to the SVD, but it may become vital sooner than later. There’s a tactical flashlight as well, but also an angled foregrip. Pretty much that’s everything the SVD was missing.
