Escape From Tarkov’s Recent Popularity Breaks Down the Servers

Throughout this past couple of days, more precisely since the activation of the Twitch Drop and surprising boom of Tarkov inside the Twitch repository, the game has gathered a lot of attention. It has managed to attract lots of players, who, at this very moment, are helplessly sitting in front of their PC monitors trying to get into the game.

Overloading is the main reason leading to server crash, stated Battlestate Games, the developers behind one of the most, if not the most exciting tactical first-person shooters, Escape From Tarkov. The most realistic yet exciting Escape From Tarkov is facing massive inventory management and trading delays, which are slowly turning into server crashes, disconnecting people, or shutting down their game client.

To counter this bad and unexpected behavior, Battlestate Games has also posted a new announcement on their official Twitter Profile. The server infrastructure is getting upgraded as we’re speaking, and this issue should be resolved (what we assume in a couple of hours).

We are working on fixing and upgrading the server infrastructure. Sorry for caused inconvenience.

Huge amount of players revealing high load problems that's need to be fixed. In fact – it's a Beta and we didn't experience this before. Thanks!

Tarkov has shortly become the fans’ favorite after its recent success on Twitch, the leading live streaming platform. Multiple well-known streamers such as DrDisrespect, Timthetatman, Cohhcarnage, and more have decided to give this game a chance. Most likely, we’re about to see Fortnite players jumping on the same bandwagon as them.

The most important thing at this very moment is that Tarkov is getting an astounding amount of love, and the developer BSG is currently working on a server infrastructure upgrade to meet the player demands.
