Escape from Tarkov’s Personality Vacuum Modifier Can Make Peacekeeper Gear Much Pricier
A player comparison puts the Kord Breach AUG A1 at 207,000 rubles with the modifier, compared with 146,000 rubles normally.

Escape from Tarkov players may want to think twice before choosing the “Personality Vacuum” modifier. A player comparison suggests that the effect makes Peacekeeper items and ammunition far more expensive, with both the USD price and item cost reportedly increasing by 20%.

How Personality Vacuum changes the AUG A1 price
The clearest example involves the AUG A1. Without the modifier, the weapon costs 146,000 rubles, based on a price of 794 USD and an exchange rate of 184 rubles per dollar.
With Personality Vacuum active, the same purchase rises to 207,000 rubles. The comparison uses 944 USD and an exchange rate of 220 rubles per dollar, putting the final cost roughly 42% above the normal price.
That is a painful jump for a weapon that may already be competing with ammunition, armor, and other raid expenses. The player said they reset after 20 raids in Kord Breach because they were constantly running out of money, adding that the modifier’s drawbacks were not worth the trade-off.
The figures come from a player comparison rather than a confirmed developer explanation, so they do not establish whether the pricing is intentional or the result of a problem with the modifier. For now, anyone considering Personality Vacuum should account for the extra Peacekeeper costs before committing to it.
