Battlestate Games has released a new technical client update today for both Escape from Tarkov and Escape from Tarkov: Arena. The update addresses a critical issue affecting player progression when switching between the main Tarkov game and its new Arena mode.
The problem had caused players to lose trader reputation while moving between Escape from Tarkov and EFT: Arena. Trader reputation is a key progression mechanic in the game, granting access to better gear and services from in-game traders, and losing the reputation is quite bad for the whole player base. No wonder everyone was frustrated about it…
Over on Twitter, Battlestate Games has announced that the issue has been identified and a fix has been deployed. BSG also said they will work to restore any lost trader loyalty levels that players may have experienced because of the bug.
