Battlestate Games has adjusted how extracts work on the Terminal map in Escape From Tarkov. The studio says the game will not be stopped, but raid time on servers undergoing the updates may be reduced to 10 minutes.
The Zubr extraction at Terminal now changes the number of available slots based on how many PMCs are present in the raid. That affects how many players can leave via that exit when updates are being applied to a server. This follows recent posts from the studio’s COO, which hinted at ongoing work and adjustments across Tarkov’s live servers.
Shorter raid windows and dynamic extraction slots will change decision making for players who plan to push for specific extracts late in a raid. Players should check servers for active updates before committing to long fights or heavy looting in Terminal.
PATCH NOTES
Overview. The update focuses on two items. First, raid time on servers that are being updated can be shortened. Second, the number of available extraction slots at the Zubr on Terminal now depends on how many PMCs are in the raid.
- The game will not be stopped, however the raid time on servers undergoing the updates may be reduced to 10 minutes.
- The number of available spots on the Zubr at the Terminal has been adjusted:
- If there are 3 PMCs on the map, 3 spots will be available for extraction.
- If there are 4 PMCs – 3 to 4 spots.
- If there are 5 PMCs – 4 to 5 spots.
