The key to The Tarkov Shooter – Part 1 is a strict combination of distance, target, and weapon: eliminate five Scavs from over 40 meters with a bolt-action rifle using iron sights. PMC kills do not count, and a scoped rifle does not meet the stated equipment condition.

Equipment
- Bring a bolt-action rifle and leave scopes and other sights off it. Use the iron sights.
- MP-18 as an option, but the objective specifies a bolt-action rifle. Use a bolt-action rifle like Mosin if you want to follow the objective wording without that ambiguity.
How to complete The Tarkov Shooter – Part 1
- Choose a map where you can engage Scavs beyond 40 meters. Woods, Shoreline, and Customs are recommended because they have sniper Scavs that can be spotted at long range.
- Keep the rifle on iron sights and make sure each target is a Scav. PMC eliminations do not count.
- Complete five qualifying eliminations, with each one made from more than 40 meters away.
Factory is not recommended for this task because it has few places where you can effectively take shots at the required distance.
