Escape From Tarkov server maintenance has been delayed for 3 hours

I know you’re excited about the wipe and cannot wait for the servers to come online. Before Escape From Tarkov opens its doors, we’ll have to wait for a bit longer. During yesterday’s announcement, BSG declared a server closure of 5 hours, possibly extending the maintenance for a bit longer. Well, that’s precisely what happened, and fans will have to wait for extra time before they hop ingame.

Recently, Battlestate Games said, “the patch installation has been extended for approximately 3 hours due to technical reasons. Stay tuned for more updates. Thank you for your understanding“.

It’s not the first, nor the last time this is happening, and as always, we’re here to support Battlestate Games in their effort to provide the best gameplay experience for everyone. If you’re wide awake and you are waiting for the wipe to finish and servers to come online, be aware; expect large player queues to be present, which could result in long, lingering, and tiring sessions before you enter the game.
