Escape From Tarkov “Route Deviation” Quest Guide

All six Streets of Tarkov BTR stops, marker placement points, and rewards

Route Deviation asks you to mark all six BTR stops on Streets of Tarkov with MS2000 Markers. Each marker is removed from your inventory when placed, so plan on using one at every stop.

Requirements and objectives

The quest unlocks 6 hours after completing The Higher They Fly.

  • Mark the Collapsed Crane BTR stop.
  • Mark the Old Scav Checkpoint BTR stop.
  • Mark the Pinewood Hotel BTR stop.
  • Mark the City Center BTR stop.
  • Mark the Tram BTR stop.
  • Mark the Rodina Cinema BTR stop.

Needed equipment

You need six MS2000 Markers. The quest lists six as initial equipment, and additional markers can be purchased from Prapor or Ragman if needed. Markers can be used automatically from your inventory when required, and each one is consumed upon placement.

The quest recommends keeping the markers in special slots or your pouch so they are not lost if you die.

How to complete Route Deviation

Streets of Tarkov map marking all six Route Deviation BTR stops: Collapsed Crane, Old Scav Checkpoint, Pinewood Hotel, City Center, Tram and Rodina Cinema.
Mark all six BTR stops with MS2000 Markers. Numbers identify stops, not a required route order.

  • Old Scav Checkpoint: At the corner in front of the Golden World store.
  • Pinewood Hotel: By the trash bags next to one of the pillars.
  • City Center: At the traffic light on the corner of the Primorsky 49 building.
  • Tram: At the barrier in front of the restaurant.
  • Rodina Cinema: At the container beneath the stairs.
