Escape From Tarkov “Reverse Gear” Seasonal Mode Quest Guide

Reverse Gear is Prapor’s Seasonal-mode camera retrieval task, not an ordinary PvP/PvE quest. Return to the six surveillance spots and bring out the quest-item WI-FI Cameras. Shop-bought, plantable WI-FI Cameras cannot replace these pickups.

Requirements

  • Play in Seasonal mode, not ordinary PvP/PvE. This is part of the KORD BREACH Seasonal questline.
  • The task unlocks 0-2 hours after completing Know Your Enemy.
  • Keep the task active while collecting its six quest-item cameras.

Objectives

  • Locate and obtain the Wi-Fi Camera from the Ural truck near the hydroelectric power station on Shoreline
  • Hand over the camera
  • Locate and obtain the Wi-Fi Camera from the excavator at the stream near the smugglers’ base on Shoreline
  • Hand over the camera
  • Locate and obtain the Wi-Fi Camera from the concrete mixer truck at the collapsed crane on Streets of Tarkov
  • Hand over the camera
  • Locate and obtain the Wi-Fi Camera from the bio toilet near the Rodina cinema on Streets of Tarkov
  • Hand over the camera
  • Locate and obtain the Wi-Fi Camera from the cargo truck cabin near Mira Ave on Ground Zero
  • Hand over the camera
  • Locate and obtain the Wi-Fi Camera from yellow bus in the underground tunnel on Ground Zero
  • Hand over the camera

Shoreline Cameras

At the Ural beside the hydroelectric power station, look on the left edge of the rear bumper for the camera. At the excavator by the stream near the smugglers’ base, search the left track. Pick up both cameras before heading for an extraction if your route allows it.

Recover the camera from the left edge of the Ural rear bumper and the camera from the excavator left track. Extract successfully and hand over both quest items.

Streets of Tarkov Cameras

Go to the concrete mixer truck beside the collapsed crane and look on its left rear wheel. For Rodina cinema, check the roof edge of the blue portable toilets in front of the cinema. You need the camera at each spot, not merely a visit to the truck and toilets.

Recover the mixer camera from the bracket immediately above its left rear wheel. At Rodina cinema, the camera is on the roof edge of the blue portable toilets, not inside a cubicle.

Ground Zero Cameras

Find the cargo truck on the ramp toward the Streets of Tarkov transit near Mira Ave. Take its camera from the fuel tank. Then enter the yellow bus in the underground tunnel and check the top of a rear seat for the other camera.

Recover the truck camera from its fuel tank, then check the top of a rear seat inside the yellow bus. The bus is underground, not on the surface ramp. Both cameras are required.

Extract and Hand Over the Cameras

The cameras enter your quest-item inventory. Extract successfully with the ones you collect, then hand them to Prapor against their matching objectives. A failed extraction loses the cameras you are carrying, so retrieve those again. The task has six separate hand-ins; do not stop after recovering just one camera from each map.
