Escape From Tarkov Removes Secure Containers

Who needs Fortnite when you have Battlestate Games? This is probably Escape From Tarkov’s best pre-wipe event BSG has ever done, and everyone craves to have the same since the beginning of a fresh wipe. The latest pre-wipe event removes every kind of secure container from the game, and hardcore fans are hoping this change to be permanent. Even for those that have Beta containers, they cannot equip it. For the first time, we’ll see how the game looks without them.

In a recent tweet, Battlestate Games has announced the loss of the secure containers, and they’re connected to the raid movie series.

During the second reconnaissance operation inside the perimeter, the task force discovered the remains of the first team that stopped communicating during the daytime. Opened gamma-class rugged containers were found among the bodies. According to the results of the investigation, it was revealed that unknown persons ambushed the group. The enemy is using tools to open the personal secure containers of our fighters and gain access to the contents. It is necessary to carry out work on changing the callsigns of active units due to responsibility. I recommend that you pay special attention to the available containers to secure the information available to the operatives in the blocked territories.

Does this mean that Battestate Games is maybe experimenting with how the raids would be so they could perform multiple other tweaks to them? For example, maybe they will forbid putting magazines and ammo of any type inside once the wipe comes out. What if they remove every kind of secure container before the wipe? It’s doubtful to happen, but what if it does? Expect a fiery conversation in the coming days between Edge of Darkness and Normal consumers.
