Escape From Tarkov: Only Found In Raid Weapons May Be Sold on the Flea Market

Flea Market, the very best known by controversy, the in-game auction house in Escape From Tarkov, brings changes that make the game by far more interesting, but also harder to play. People have been getting an advantage by learning the features of the Flea Market, even after the 0.12.6 update has improvised rigorous trading features. While there’s a whole history behind its controversy, BSG has introduced a vast amount of changes to the Flea Market and is still battling to balance it further, leading to an improved gameplay experience.

Before today’s changes, only found in raid items were eligible for selling on the Flea Market, leaving the weapons aside. With today’s update, Battlestate Games has put a stop to that as well. Guns without found-in-raid status may no longer be sold on the in-game auction house.

According to Battlestate Games, today’s technical update added the following changes:

  • From now on, you can sell guns on the flea market only if they are found in raid.
  • Barter on the flea market is only possible with found in raid items.
  • Various technical improvements of the anti-cheat system.

This nurtures a natural fight against players that are ahead of newcomers and are reselling guns and gun modifications, some even abusing it to earn real-life money. Hence, it indirectly attacks the black market and also prevents a stock depletion, a severity noticed multiple times throughout previous wipes.

No matter what game, as long as there is a transaction in the game, there will definitely be a dealer. The game is like reality, so the third-party transactions in the game will definitely happen, the key is whether this dealer is formal.
