Escape From Tarkov “Night Sweep” Quest Guide
Skier wants 12 Cultist knives and five Cultist eliminations, but the hand-in has no found-in-raid restriction.
Night Sweep has two jobs to track. Skier wants 12 Cultist knives handed over and five Cultists eliminated. Collecting the knives alone will not complete the quest, and the knives do not need found-in-raid status.
Night Sweep requirements and objectives
The task requires Skier loyalty level 4. Obtain and hand over 12 Cultist knives, then make sure the 5-Cultist elimination objective is also complete.
Where to find Cultists
Cultists appear between 22:00 and 07:00. Their listed areas include the following locations, but a visit does not guarantee a spawn.
- Night Factory, where they can be encountered throughout the small map.
- Customs, in the construction area around the Scav base and laboratory.
- Woods, near the northern dilapidated village or the checkpoint west of the sawmill.
- Shoreline, around the Health Resort or the roadblock northeast of the swamp village.
- Ground Zero’s level 21+ version, where they are not limited to one listed corner of the map.
Cultist priests carry the knives, and followers can carry them too. Check recovered knives against the hand-in objective while tracking your elimination progress separately.
Watch for the ambush
Cultists often wait prone before approaching with knives. Their quieter footsteps and low body temperature make spotting them harder, including with thermal sights. Once a group is engaged, followers can fight back with firearms as well, so do not treat a visible knife as their only weapon.

- 65,000 EXP
- 4 Search skill levels and 4 Stress Resistance skill levels
- +1.5 Skier reputation
- 2,400 Euros, increased to 2,520 with Intelligence Center level 1 or 2,760 with level 2
- 1 CMMG Mk47 Mutant and 5 packs of 7.62x39mm PP gzh ammunition, containing 20 rounds each
- Unlocks purchase of the CMMG Mk47 Mutant and Magpul MOE Carbine rubber buttpad at Skier loyalty level 4
