Escape From Tarkov Lowers the Weight of Some Items and Adds New Vodka

What was seemingly a new event for the weekend, now it’s something else. Battlestate Games has posted a new invoice image from Goshan, highlighting some changes to items. A couple of things are seeing nerfs, while the document itself presents a unique and fiery Vodka drink. SAS Drives, Diary, SSD drives, and every other item used to train your character’s strength are no longer viable.

For example, the weight of the SAS drive is lowered from 0.8 to 0.3, and you can no longer train your strength as efficiently as before. Every other strength-training item is also nerfed, and you will no longer be able to take advantage of that particular mechanic.

For a full list of item changes, check below:

SAS drive weight

  • Old: 0.8
  • New: 0.3

Diary weight

  • Old: 0.4
  • New: 0.2

SSD drive weight

  • Old: 0.4
  • New: 0.1

Slim diary weight

  • Old: 0.2
  • New: 0.1

Vehicle manual weight

  • Old: 1
  • New: 0.2

Bottle of Tarkovskaya Vodka

The new Vodka will be dangerous and will have some negative impact on the imbiber. The model of the new Vodka is the same as the already existing one, but it carries different properties (see image below).

The description says: “No need to raid Area 51 to see them aliens after all. Looks like it’s a batch from 1211 warehouses.”

My goal is to deliver fresh news and updates, but most of the time I want to work on guides. Since I have rebooted this website, I am planning on making it huge. Just you wait!
