Escape From Tarkov July 17 Update Notes Revealed, Ref Trader Unlocked

BSG decides to unlock the Ref trader, which should in-fact ease up the gameplay in general.

Escape From Tarkov’s Hardcore Wipe mechanics are still being loosened up. In EFT’s latest update, the developers have unlocked access to in-game tasks that allow players to gain entry to the Ref trader.

Completing this newly introduced task chain grants players immediate access to Ref trader services at Loyalty Levels 1 and 2.

New balancing changes to the Hardcore Wipe mechanics in Escape from Tarkov:

  • Players have access to in-game tasks to unlock Ref trader. After completing tasks chain players will have access to services at LL1 and LL2.

The inclusion of Ref Trader will give players clearer and easier progression goals. As always, Battlestate Games remains dedicated to fine-tuning Escape From Tarkov, continually responding to player feedback to improve the game’s balance and immersion.

After they released the Hardcore Wipe, players have been frustrated, especially the streamers, since the progression of the game was somewhat locked up and allowed players to catch up easier. Judging by the nature of the game, the ones who are further ahead in progression usually have a slight advantage over others, whether it’s better ammo, guns, armor, or else.

With that said, over the past couple of days, Battlestate Games has been loosening things up to satisfy both casual players and tryhards. What do you think about this change? Please let us know!
