Battlestate Games, the developer behind Escape From Tarkov, has announced on its X profile that tomorrow, April 15, it will install a new update titled 0.14.5.5. This update is considered a bigger one, which may switch the current season in Tarkov and add some additional improvements to the game.
Given the longevity of the upcoming maintenance, which will take approximately 4 hours, it should bring at least a couple of big changes. Just as with any other technical update, the patch notes are posted once the maintenance begins, so we’ll have to wait until tomorrow. In the meantime, we’ll prepare the list of changes in the section below.
The maintenance is scheduled to start at 8:00AM BST/3:00AM EDT, and the official post about it can be found below:

Escape From Tarkov 0.14.5.5 Patch Notes
Once the patch notes are published, I will post them below:
- Optimized the algorithm of AI spawns at the start of online raids;
- Added new weapon switching sounds depending on its type and length;
- Balancing adjustments to the trader item limits system;
- Added an achievement for players who completed the quest chain in the Spring event;
- Added new PMC outfits available both for purchase on the website and as rewards for completing the new quests.
List of fixes:
- Fixed the overlapping sound when breaking fluorescent lamps;
- Adjusted the volume of container searching, equipment, weapon switching, as well as crouched movement with minimum speed;
- Fixed the noise in the ambient sounds on Woods;
- Fixed the display of the sorting table button for different monitor aspect ratios.
