Escape From Tarkov February 1st Update fixes the invisibility glitch

Escape From Tarkov has received a new technical update that won’t ruin the gameplay experience, not even for a second. However, players must download the update via the launcher, which is already available. This February 1st update is here to fix the invisibility glitch and some known audio issues.

Even though the main reason for the invisibility glitch is being fixed, the unrooting of the problem may not be complete as Battlestate Games continues to monitor the same. Furthermore, this update deals with high-pitch interface sounds and tackles the abnormal audio output in-game.

Escape From Tarkov February 1st Patch Notes

  • Fixed the main cause of invisible players in raids. We are continuing to work on the fix until this issue is completely removed.
  • Fixed the volume of some in-raid sounds: Sounds that are controlled by the Interface volume setting are now divided into two categories:
    • Sounds that are controlled by the Interface volume setting are now divided into two categories:
    • Sounds that are adjusted by the Interface volume setting out of raids, and are identical for all players in raids:
      • 1) Loading/unloading magazines, interacting with weapon attachments and armor
      • 2) Moving items in the inventory
    • Sounds that are adjusted by the Interface volume setting in and out of raids:
      • 1) Notifications
      • 2) Opening/closing inventory
      • 3) Clicking on any functional UI elements
