Escape From Tarkov “Discombobulate” Quest Guide

Stash three VOG-25 grenades at Woods landmarks, and avoid a documented local PvE bug.

Discombobulate requires three VOG-25 Khattabka grenades stashed at RPG ammo crates across Woods. The locations are the sawmill, the USEC checkpoint, and the “Junction” BTR stop. In local PvE, accepting the quest and placing the grenades in the same raid does not work, so plan those steps across separate raids.

Requirements and objectives

The BTR Driver gives Discombobulate, which follows Protect the Sky.

Equipment

Three VOG-25 Khattabka improvised hand grenades. The quest does not require them to be found in raid.

How to complete Discombobulate

Woods map marking the three Discombobulate stash locations beside the main sawmill, at the western checkpoint and at Junction. — The three stashes are at the main sawmill’s eastern road edge, the USEC checkpoint west of the sawmill and the Junction BTR stop farther north.

Take three VOG-25 grenades into Woods.
At each listed landmark, stash one grenade in its RPG ammo crate.
If playing local PvE, accept the quest in a different raid from the one in which you complete the stashes. Completing both steps in the same raid currently does not work in that mode.
