Escape From Tarkov “Break the Deal” Quest Guide
Stash four items on the scaffolding at Customs' southern industrial plant building.
Break the Deal requires four separate stash placements inside the scaffolding of the southern industrial plant building on Customs. Bring a DVL-10, its 10-round magazine, an ELCAN SpecterDR scope, and a pack of 7.62x51mm NATO ammunition, then place each item at its specified floor location.
Requirements and objectives
Ragman gives the quest, which takes place on Customs. Complete all four stash objectives:

What to bring
After accepting the quest, check your in-game mail for the supplied gear. The listed initial equipment includes a DVL-10, an ELCAN SpecterDR scope, and a 20-round 7.62x51mm BCP FMJ ammo pack. The objectives also require a DVL-10 magazine, so make sure you have one before heading to Customs.
The quest does not list a found-in-raid requirement for any of the four placed items. The DVL-10 can be completely disassembled and still be stashed. It does not need to be functional.
How to complete Break the Deal
- Go to the scaffolding of the southern industrial plant building on Customs.
- On the second floor, stash the ELCAN SpecterDR at the crates in the far corner.
- On the third floor, place the DVL-10 magazine inside the broken crate.
- On the fourth floor, put the ammunition pack at the stacked crates next to the stairs, then stash the rifle at the crates in the far corner.
If a DVL-10 is equipped in your primary or secondary weapon slot, it is used first for the rifle placement.
