Battlestate Games has set Escape from Tarkov version 1.0 to arrive on November 15, 2025, closing out an eight-year early access run and marking a clear end to the long beta period that has defined the game since 2018…
What happened: studio head Nikita Buyanov shared the date on social media, and a trailer landed alongside it, giving players a firm day to circle on their calendars.

Is The Game Ready For Its Full Release?
Community reaction has been messy, in a good way and a nervous way. Some folks are celebrating the end of the long early access era. Others are worried after the hardcore wipe that hit earlier this year and introduced rough problems at launch, which did not sit well with everyone.
Kinda messy patching was needed early on, and developers have pushed updates since then to address bugs and optimization complaints. Some changes were rolled back after negative feedback, and other adjustments were made to stabilize and make the game playable for the full launch.
Will the final launch fix the cheater problem? Will players feel like the game is finished and fair? Those are the big questions for people still invested in Tarkov.
Trailer reactions look mostly positive in the comments. Lots of people are cautiously optimistic even after everything that happened since early access began in 2018. Maybe the extra months of fixes will do the trick, or maybe there will still be surprises at launch. We’ll find out in November!
