UPDATE: DOG TAGS CAN NOW BE RETURNED, and QUESTS REQUIRING THEM CAN BE COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY.
Shortly after Escape From Tarkov’s 0.12.6 update, players have begun their “rags to riches” run. To get there, players need to level up their PMC, and the best way to do that is by accomplishing tasks.
They yield an exceptional amount of experience but also grant access to new trader items. Tasks like Friend From The West and The Punisher 6 require Dogtags.
Just as “The Punisher 6”, “Friend From The West Part 1” has been reworked and, instead of its previous objectives, requires a collection of Dogtags. It seems that players are having difficulties in returning the Dogtags, which means the quest is currently bugged. This problem occurred with the installment of patch 0.12.6, which was deployed yesterday.
BSG is probably working on a fix, and this issue will most likely be fixed shortly. Once it gets set, we’ll let you know by updating the article.
