Not only that Epic Games has a different revenue share policy, but also introduces regional pricing, which may reduce the prize of some video game titles in promotional countries.

According to Epic Games, they have officially published that Regional Pricing options are added to the store.

Regional pricing options have been expanded on the Epic Games store! The new regional pricing options are now live and we will be continuing expansion going forward. If you recently purchased a game at a higher price due to your region not previously being available, we will be refunding you the difference over the next two weeks. No action is needed on your part for these refunds.

We’re going to be releasing new features regularly like the expanded regional pricing. Keep an eye out for an Epic Game store roadmap in the near future.

This makes the game available for a different price in different countries, and believe it or not, Segmentnext managed to get the game for a price of $20.

Having a Regional Pricing will surely bring more attention to consumers across the world would all love to experience the same. With Epic Games’ revenue share policy and the 12% of publisher charge, it is more than common to see even bigger titles boarding Epic Games store and leaving Steam.

Metro Exodus is the second big title after The Division 2 who left Valve’s Steam and joined Epic Games Store.

On a community base level, Epic Games store is missing some key features such as community guidelines, discussions and more, while Steam already has all of that available.
