June 2025’s video game sales data has come in, and Elden Ring: Nightreign claimed the top spot once again. This is notable since it outperformed some recent big console exclusives, such as Death Stranding 2: On the Beach and Mario Kart World, both of which landed in second and third place, respectively.
According to data from Circana, Nightreign maintains its position as a multi-platform title, which may give it a wider reach compared to those exclusives. Rounding out the top five were Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Stellar Blade.
Three new releases joined the top 20 in June. Alongside Death Stranding 2 and Mario Kart World, Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma debuted at 10th place. Some games also made notable jumps in rankings. Stellar Blade skyrocketed from 185th in May after its PC release, Elden Ring itself rose from 24th, likely buoyed by interest surrounding Nightreign, and Cyberpunk 2077 jumped from 427th to 18th, coinciding with its launch on the Switch 2.
Several titles that were in the top 20 last month dropped out, including Doom: The Dark Ages, PGA Tour 2K25, Capcom Fighting Collection 2, F1 25, Helldivers 2, and The Last of Us: Part II.
