Elden Ring Nightreign has received its second update, Title Update 1.01.1, from FromSoftware. This patch introduces several changes aimed at improving solo play, balancing rewards, and fixing numerous bugs, making the experience smoother for players tackling the dark forces of Nightreign.
Nightreign is a standalone game set within the Elden Ring universe, built around three-player cooperative gameplay. Players select distinct champions with distinct abilities to fight together against aggressive enemies. Yet, this update pays special attention to those who prefer going it alone.
For solo adventurers, the patch adds an Automatic Revival Upon Defeat effect during night boss battles, allowing a one-time revival to help survive tough encounters. also, the amount of runes earned in solo expeditions has been increased, making progression a bit kinder when playing alone.
Balancing tweaks include a higher chance of obtaining high-rarity Relics as rewards upon reaching Day 3 in Expeditions. Also, the likelihood of finding rare Relics when purchasing Scenic Flat Stones from the Small Jar Bazaar has been boosted. These changes should make collecting powerful items a little less of a grind and more rewarding.
On the technical side, Steam players will notice fixes such as corrected graphics rendering when selecting “Low” quality settings, and improvements to the Climb up action responsiveness on keyboard and gamepad controls.
