Escape From Tarkov Will Shut Down Its Servers For Another Update on February 3

Another backend server maintenance

On Wednesday, the developer of Escape From Tarkov, Battlestate Games, has announced that it will shut down its servers for another backend server maintenance. The maintenance will occur on February 3 at 10:00 MSK, and the servers will be shut down and the game unavailable for approximately 3 hours.

This will be the third backend server maintenance after the installment of patch 0.12.12. Escape From Tarkov had a rough beginning due to the massive influx of players. After every wipe and major update, it’s evident that more and more players are joining the game. Its vast popularity has managed to clog the servers a couple of times so far, which left BSG with no other option than to perform these types of server maintenances.

As of today, Escape From Tarkov has a strong community, which is one of the reasons for its solid success. The game is on a good path, and its future looks quite shiny. Every update has been right on the spot, and it’s likely to continue that way.

I've spent half of my life playing video games, ever since the competitive 1.6 era. Now I am happily married to Margarita Kicevski, and have two beautiful children. My goal is to deliver fresh news and updates, but most of the time I want to work on guides. Since I have rebooted this website, I am planning on making it huge. Just you wait!
