Escape From Tarkov will lose its traders for 5 days, Flea Market might be impacted too

Escape From Tarkov is about to become a lot more entertaining game if the proposed deal by Nikita takes place. One of them will definitely occur, while the other one remains uncertain. On Tuesday, the COO of Battlestate Games, Nikita Buyanov, stated that if his tweet reaches 30,000 Likes, he will remove all traders for five days, and if it gets 45,000 likes, he will remove the Flea Market too. A 5-day period without any of this would be fascinating for every real hardcore player.

Below you can find the tweet posted by Nikita Buyanov:

45000 likes and fleamarket will also be removed 👌

— Nikita Buyanov (@nikgeneburn) April 26, 2022

As you may have noticed, the Tweet has already reached above 30,000 likes, and it’s heading straight towards the second highlight, which is 45,000 likes.

Let’s be real. Having these two core features out of the game would be problematic, especially for newcomers that barely understand the game. Having static traders in the game is a must, but the FLEA will never be as mandatory as the core traders in the game. Having no FLEA market would incentivize players to explore, search for high-value items or parts needed for hideout upgrades, and discover new containers they never knew existed in the first place… It would change the game completely.

There is so much Battlestate Games could do with Escape From Tarkov, and this would be just the first slice of the whole pizza so we can taste how it feels. This could also allude to an upcoming Escape From Tarkov wipe, which would align with our initial guess. While it doesn’t feel like it will happen on April 28, early May seems a contender. I hope it happens sooner than later, as it is the most fun period to play Escape From Tarkov.
