It’s a great day for Battlestate Games and the whole Escape From Tarkov community. Recently, Battlestate Games included a new type of rule that contradicts the Real Money Trading and puts the Black Market to a complete stop. The ruthless halt did not require an insane and super inventive installation of some sort, and the results have already proven beneficial for everyone. A win-win situation, indeed.
Without exceptions, as Battlestate Games’ COO Nikita Buyanov stated in a recent tweet, “we are getting good results – cheater activity reduced noticeably.” This outcome was praised and very much anticipated by the whole Tarkov community. “RMT activity reduced drastically. I know that you wanted to boost up your friends with keys but it was not initially intended too.” – Nikita continued.
Then, he concluded by apologizing for the new reality and said that the rules apply to everybody without exceptions. This means that not a single type of accusation would make Battlestate Games feel bad for their alterations to prevent the RMT within Escape From Tarkov.
In another response to a question on Twitter, Nikita further claimed that they have all the stats, which should result in responsive actions in the coming period. Overall, the new Anti-RMT measure has proven effective, and players can no longer “boost” their friends and drop them keys from valuable loot rooms. A condition that’s set to breathe in the Escape From Tarkov future. This has been expected, and honestly, we believe it should’ve been brought up earlier.
