Earlier this month, chatter from a merch maker accidentally spilled some tea about a Black Flag project. Now, Matt Ryan, the actor who voices Edward Kenway, got caught on camera teasing fans during a signing event. When asked if a fan had beaten the game, Ryan smirked and said, “Well, you might have to beat it again.“ Then he added there’s a reason for this, but he’s not allowed to reveal it. Classic tease, right?

The timing is a bit odd, with no major announcements during recent game showcases and Ubisoft facing some internal drama, but perhaps that’s why the company is keeping things hush-hush for now.
