The Echoes of the Dead event begins Thursday, October 16, 2025, and runs for one week in both Black Ops 6 and Warzone, offering a haul of cosmetics and the bizarre new special weapon, the X52 Resonator.
Season 6 is the final chapter for this Call of Duty run, and the post-season content keeps arriving. The event follows the recent Haunting Halloween additions and several new guns that have appeared in-game. Echoes of the Dead is built around a set of challenges. Each reward has three separate objectives tied to Black Ops 6 multiplayer, Zombies, or Warzone. Players only need to complete one of the three for each reward, and you can mix objectives across modes to collect everything on offer.

If you want to jump straight to the X52 Resonator, the fastest route depends on what you play. Multiplayer players should stick to the Boo-Town 24/7 playlist and focus on consistent eliminations. Zombie grinders will need large-volume runs in Haunted Havoc. Warzone players can chip away through Zombie modes like Zombie Royale or Casual Z. For reference, the posted schedule lists the event’s start time as 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST on October 16 and its end date as October 23.
