If you’re as pumped about football (or soccer, depending on where you’re from) as I am, the latest news about EA Sports FC 25 is right up your alley! Title Update #9 is on its way, and it’s packed with changes that could shake things up in Football Ultimate Team. Trust me; you’re going to want to hear all about it!
Patch Notes
The Features Update (Title Update #9) will be released for EA SPORTS FC 25 in the coming days, and it’s going to address a handful of issues while enabling us to release several new updates shortly, including:
- Increase of active Evolution slots to 2.
- New OVR Search Filter in Football Ultimate Team.
- Progress around players getting wins when Football Ultimate Team matches end early.
- Slightly updated Starter Packs for new Football Ultimate Team clubs.
We saw your positive reactions to the previous Gameplay Refresh Update and want to ensure we’re maintaining a consistent gameplay experience, so we are not making any changes to the game’s balance in this update.
We’re addressing a stability issue during throw-ins and updating our Simulation Mode slider presets to pair offline better play with some of the tuning changes from the past update. We’re continuing to review your feedback around gameplay and will make further updates based on it in the future.
Active Evolution Increase And Updated Starter Packs
You asked for more Evolutions, and guess what? The team listened! Soon, you’ll be able to have two active Evolutions happening at once. That’s bound to spice things up!
A little birdie also told me they’d be giving Starter Packs a bit of a facelift for those fresh new Football Ultimate Team clubs. They’ll still need their grind on, but these packs will reflect where we are in the season. It’s a nice touch!
New OVR Search Filter In Football Ultimate Team
The search filters are getting an upgrade, too! With TU #9, we can now filter by OVR ranges across different modes like Club management or SBCs. This should help streamline your player searches significantly!
Updated Match Outcomes In Football Ultimate Team
If you’ve ever felt cheated when an opponent quits during a tied match—you’re not alone! The community voiced its frustrations loud and clear. This update introduces new logic that might just give you that long-awaited win if an opponent quits under certain conditions. It’s not perfect yet, but it’s progress!
- Introduced new match outcome logic that can result in you receiving a match win when opponents quit during a tied scoreline.
- This change applies to solo Ultimate Team Division Rivals and Champions play and Ultimate Team Division Division Rivals co-op play.
The catch here: It only kicks in if something like penalties or red cards happens before they decide to leave. Plus there will be limits set on how many times this can happen within a day—so no exploiting this one!
I think these moves show that they’re trying hard to keep things fair while still making adjustments based on what we all want. Of course, they’ll monitor how this plays out so keep sharing your thoughts—they’re listening!
This is definitely shaping up nicely for EASPORTS FC 25. What do you think about these changes? Are there other things you’d love to change? Hit me up with your thoughts below because I’m all ears! Much love to everyone, and have a great day! I am Mihaela, and I am glad to see you reading this piece!
