EA Sports FC 25 has released a new update. Just like that feeling when you find the perfect seasoning for your favorite dish, EA Sports FC 25 has rolled out Title Update 4, a delightful mix of improvements and fixes that promise to enhance your gameplay experience. But what exactly does it bring to the table?

Gameplay Changes
First off, we have some significant adjustments in gameplay that you’ll want to take note of:
- Updated AI attacking player logic means your virtual teammates will now be better at deciding when to make those crucial forward runs after a pass. Smart plays are the name of the game!
- AI Defensive Midfielders in the Holding Role have received a bit of a boost; they can now position themselves further up the pitch, allowing for more dynamic play.
- Defenders have been given a nudge in the right direction, with updated logic for slide tackles that ensures they use the proper foot.
- And for those intense Rush penalty shootouts, inactive players will now stand at the halfway line in shootout order, keeping things organized and strategic.
Addressing Gameplay Issues
But that’s not all! Here’s a list of issues that have been addressed, making the game a bit smoother and more enjoyable:
- Player substitutions will now occur at the earliest possible opportunity—no more waiting around!
- AI improvements mean the defensive line won’t push up too quickly when the attacking team passes back to midfield.
- Fixed the Heel To Ball Roll Skill Move, so it will now actually work when you want it to.
- Ground crosses will now land where intended, rather than sailing off into the unknown.
- And, a sigh of relief—the responsiveness of dribbling after performing a skill move has been enhanced.
- Fixed an issue where the auto switch could incorrectly target the initially intended pass receiver.
- Improved goalkeeper logic means they’ll now make better decisions during deflection saves.
Ultimate Team Fixes
Moving on to Ultimate Team, where a few pesky issues have been sorted out:
- UI indicators for Evolutions will now display correctly, making your progress clearer.
- If you sell an item from your Club, the duplicates won’t mistakenly offer the wrong storage option.
- Stability issues navigated in Evolutions have been addressed, ensuring smoother sailing.
- Player item portraits are now aligned properly—no more awkward mismatches!
- Objectives tabs will now display correctly, helping you stay on track.
- And, for those who like a bigger picture, the Chemistry Style UI indicator on the Squad screen has been enlarged.
Clubs and Career Mode Improvements
And let’s not forget the Clubs and Career Mode. Here are some fixes that will make your team management feel just right:
- AI teammate priorities won’t reset unexpectedly anymore.
- Match results should now display accurately on the post-match screen.
- Attributes changing after a match won’t lead to incorrect Skill Point allocations. Phew!
- And, the Avatar portrait will now be consistent with your customizations.
In Career Mode, you’ll be pleased to know:
- Stability issues with save files have been addressed.
- No more irrelevant questions during interviews in Manager Career.
- Some objectives progress will now count correctly in Player Career.
General Improvements

- Mouse input interference with controller input has been resolved.
- The options for skipping intros are now distinctly labeled for controllers.
